The August 13 update adds a new casual team mode built around the collaboration, following Ye Xiu's July 29 debut as a full playable Hero.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT's collaboration with The King's Avatar (Quanzhi Gaoshou) launched July 29 with the addition of a full playable Hero, Ye Xiu β introduced in-game with a bio pulling directly from his source-material background as a legendary esports captain: a three-peat champion, four-time MVP, and record holder for a 37-match win streak before rebuilding his career from nothing. He's free to claim from every player's in-game mailbox, no purchase required.
Alongside Ye Xiu, the crossover introduces a new weapon, the Kaleidoscope Parasol — according to its in-game lore text, built by a Lunazra artisan who packed a hundredfold of blades into a parasol's ribs and core to avoid carrying multiple weapons.
πNew Hero: YE XIU joins NARAKA. π Every fight? Solved! Every move? Countered! Your main? He saw it coming! A legend from The King's Avatar, Ye Xiu brings his signature Kaleidoscope Parasol to the battlefield of #NARAKABLADEPOINT.

The update also introduces Dual-Phase Brawl, a new Casual playlist mode tied to the crossover where players represent "Team Demeter" — Ye Xiu's in-story team — to earn points toward rewards. It's a lower-stakes complement to Naraka's core Battle Royale loop, aimed at players who want to engage with the crossover content without ranked pressure.
This is a full character crossover rather than a reskin — Ye Xiu comes with his own kit and lore integration rather than borrowing an existing Hero's abilities under a new coat of paint, which tends to matter more for how the meta actually shifts.
