Game Ready for STAR WARS Zero Company, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, plus real fixes for DOOM: The Dark Ages and Outer Worlds.
NVIDIA released GeForce Game Ready Driver 616.56 WHQL on August 26, replacing the previous 610.88 build from July 28. It's a Game Ready driver for three new titles, alongside a short list of real gaming and general bug fixes.

Three titles get day-one or day-of driver support. STAR WARS Zero Company, Bit Reactor and EA's turn-based tactics game, launches August 27 with day-one support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation. Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, Expression Games and Team17's 50-vs-50 Vietnam War shooter, is available now with DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and, on RTX 50 Series cards, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation through the NVIDIA app. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is the third title this driver optimizes for, per NVIDIA's own release.
Two gaming-specific fixes stand out. In DOOM: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, frame rate could exceed your VSYNC cap when DLSS Frame Generation 3x or higher was enabled — fixed. In Outer Worlds, texture flicker that showed up after updating to the R595 or R610 driver branches is also fixed.
A handful of general fixes are included too: Asus Armory Crate's GameVisual color profiles not applying correctly on R590 drivers, a Chief Architect crash on RTX 4000 series cards, and a driver crash that could occur with some 32-bit DirectX 12 applications.
NVIDIA's own release notes list one known issue still unresolved in this build: the "Prefer Maximum Performance" power management mode may not apply correctly. No fix timeline given.
616.56 is available now through the NVIDIA app or directly from GeForce.com. If you hit a problem after updating, NVIDIA's Driver Feedback Forum is the place to report it.
